To facilitate REST API communication between Jira Service Management and Assets, an API token is required. Once generated, input the API token into the Shoppie configuration section to establish the connection. Regularly monitor and rotate the API token for security best practices. If experiencing communication errors, verify the API token's validity and permissions. |

The user whose email and API token are registered will be responsible for initiating these API requests within Shoppie. It must be a user that possesses the necessary permissions to execute these operations. Ideally, an organization administrator or a site administrator should be chosen for this role. |
