The JQL Filter Field allows you to define and display field data using complex and precise JQL filters. Select a field from which the value will be taken from and define a JQL filter to display corresponding issues.
Create and configure the custom field
To create and configure the JQL Filter Fields custom field, you must be logged in as a user with Jira Administrator permissions.
Go to Apps → Manage your apps → Custom Field Suite
Click on Create custom field button on the right side of the screen.
Select JQL Filter Fields and click Next.
Name and add a description to your field then click Next.
Select from which field you want the value to be taken from, specify the operation that will be used on the field (SUM, AVG, MIN, MAX) and define a JQL filter to filter out only specific corresponding issues.
Click on the magnifying glass button to test your JQL filter, then click Next.
Associate the field to the appropriate screens and click Create. You must associate a field to a screen before it will be displayed.
That’s it! You can now navigate to your issue and enhance it with JQL Filter Fields.
