Inline creation of colored labels
To further amplify the visual clarity and customization within your Jira experience, we are announcing the inline creation of colored labels. Allow users to create and assign colored labels to issues without navigating to the admin app interface. Now, you can establish more vibrant, meaningful categorizations directly within your workflow, bringing a new layer of convenience and efficiency to your issue management.
NEW: WSJF
We're thrilled to announce a strategic addition to our Custom Field Suite, the WSJF (Weighted Shortest Job First) field. This feature draws from the renowned prioritization model used widely in the SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) methodology, where tasks are sequenced for maximum economic benefit.
The WSJF Custom Field facilitates effective decision-making and prioritization by calculating the relative cost of delay divided by the relative job duration. This not only assists teams in determining the sequence of work based on their potential economic impact but also promotes a focus on jobs that are likely to deliver value quickly.
NEW: Format field
This advanced feature allows users to predefine the format for specific fields like email, FQDN (Fully Qualified Domain Name), IP address, and MAC (Media Access Control) address.
The Format Field ensures consistency across all instances of these types of fields, providing uniformity and reducing errors. By standardizing the format input, we help minimize confusion, improve data integrity, and increase efficiency within your workflows.
Single and Multiple select pickers deprecated
Existing select picker fields will work with all old features and functionalities.Created fields are still visible and editable within the app configuration and Jira screens. New users won’t be able to create new fields.
