This is where the communication and collaboration magic happens. From the most recent news and updates to mission-critical (and those less critical) tasks, you'll get an overview of everything going on in your company. Get ready to explore the Cosmos dashboard!

Dashboard Panels

After the initial installation random dummy content will be presented on the dashboard to give you a better understanding of its features. After syncing the database and setting up the panels, you will see your own data.

The Cosmos dashboard configuration is divided into two parts:

  • Main Content (Left side)

  • Side Content (Right side)

You can edit them by clicking the Edit button on the bottom right. By doing so the configuration sidebar appears which allows you to edit both parts. You can add and personalize unlimited number of panels inspired by MacroSuite and Content Viz macros.

Dashboard Builder

The Dashboard Builder is a powerful Cosmos feature that allows administrators to fully customize their dashboards by adding new panels, deleting existing ones, and reordering them. With just a few clicks, admins can tailor their dashboards to suit their specific needs.

To begin customizing your dashboard using the Dashboard Builder, follow these steps:

  1. Entering Edit Mode → Once on the dashboard, locate the "Edit" button at the bottom-right corner of the screen and click on it. This will enable the editing functionality.

  2. Choosing Content Type → After entering edit mode, you'll notice two content sections available for customization: "Main Content" and "Side Content." Decide which section you want to modify and click on the corresponding area.

  3. Adding New Panels → Within the selected content section, you'll find an "Add new" button. Click on this button to open the panel selection menu.

  4. Selecting a Panel → The panel selection menu will display various panel options that can be added to the chosen content section. Browse through the available panels and click on the one you wish to add. We also added previews, so you’ll know exactly what you’ll add.

  5. Customizing the Panel → Once a panel is added, you can customize it by adjusting its settings, configuring its content, or adding additional elements based on the specific panel type. The customization options will vary depending on the selected panel.

  6. Reordering Panels → To change the order of the panels within a content section, simply click and hold on to the designated area, then drag it to the desired position. Release the mouse button to drop the panel into the new location.

  7. Deleting Panels → If you want to remove a panel from the dashboard, click on the panel's "Delete" button, represented by a small trash bin icon.

  8. Saving Changes → After customizing your dashboard, click the "Publish changes” button to save your changes and exit the edit mode. Your customized dashboard will now be displayed according to the modifications you made.
