Content cards are incredibly useful when trying to link different content types within Confluence that are updated automatically. Every information or data entry available on your Confluence site can be assigned to a content type: page, blog post, people, space, etc.

Content Viz offers you an easy way to visualize this information in various and helpful ways.

Getting started

To add the Content Viz macro to a page:

In the Confluence editor, choose + → View moreVisuals & images –> Content Viz

Alternatively, just type ‘/' and the beginning of an element (tool or things in the insert menu) to see a list of suggestions and enter “Content Viz”.

The macro dialog opens up and allows you to select:

  • Blog posts

  • Pages

  • People

  • Spaces

  • external integrations; Jira, Trello, Figma, Miro, YouTube, Google Maps, and many more to come

You can always switch between these different options.

Select one of the following cards to learn more about the possibilities for different content types: Note that we’ve deprecated Cards & Panels and moved them to MacroSuite.
