Welcome to Eisenhower Task Management (ToDo Priority Matrix) for Jira, designed to streamline your task management using the Eisenhower method. This app, available in the Jira Apps section, is accessible to all users with a valid Jira license.

Fetching your tasks

Once you log in, our app automatically pulls all tasks assigned to you and places them in a Backlog. This centralizes your tasks, making it easier for you to start organizing and prioritizing.

Organize with the Eisenhower Matrix

At the heart of our app is the Eisenhower matrix, a powerful tool to prioritize your tasks based on urgency and importance. The matrix is divided into four quadrants:

  1. Urgent and Important: Tasks that require immediate attention.

  2. Important, but Not Urgent: Tasks that are important but do not require immediate action.

  3. Urgent, but Not Important: Tasks that need to be done soon but are less important.

  4. Neither Urgent nor Important: Tasks that are neither urgent nor important.

Simply drag and drop tasks from your Backlog into any of these quadrants. This visual organization helps you quickly assess your priorities and focus on what matters most.

Seamless integration with Jira

While our app offers a new way to view and manage your tasks, it does not alter any information in your Jira issue view. Changes made in the app’s Eisenhower matrix are for your personal organization and won't affect the task details in Jira.
