Introduction
Page Builder is the first feature of its kind on the Atlassian Marketplace. Our macro lets you create Confluence pages precisely the way you want, with the powerful live drag & drop macro editor. From knowledge base or help center to engaging product pages and blogs - it is all possible with Page Builder.
Getting Started
To add the Page Builder macro to a page:
In the Confluence editor, choose + > Other Macros
Find and select the Page Builder macro.
Alternatively, type '/' and the beginning of an element (tool or things in the insert menu) to see a list of suggestions and enter 'Page Builder.'
The macro dialog opens up and allows drag and drop macros from the left side navigation or choose from the section templates.
Build a section
The empty section is a starting point. To build a page section, choose a background, drag and drop macros to build a custom layout, or insert one of the predefined templates.
Due to possible performance, adding up to 5 sections is possible. Each section has a limit of 7 rows.
For every section in a row, the user can define a column layout. With this feature, it is possible to build more powerful pages and custom layouts.
Change a background
Each page section can have a different background. Click on the blue icon in the upper right corner to add a background image or video. Users can select the background from various sources:
Image Library → Saved images in the MacroSuite style guide
Image Link → sources like DropBox, AWS, internal company services, or free websites like unsplash.com and pixabay.com. Only JPG and PNG formats are available.
Attachments → JPG, PNG images, and mp4 videos that are saved in the page attachments. Users can select a background from all pages with view access.
Color → Colors are predefined in the MacroSuite style guide.
Video Link → Link to page attachments, DropBox, AWS, or free stock videos as https://www.pexels.com/videos/ . Only mp4 format is available.
