The Cosmos Admin role redefines the way permissions are managed within our intranet app. Previously, control over Cosmos settings was exclusively vested in Confluence site administrators. With the introduction of the Cosmos Admin role, any user can be granted the same privileges as Confluence administrators, offering greater flexibility and control over your app's configuration.
Adding Cosmos Admins
Navigate to the settings icon in the sidebar and select.
Navigate to Cosmos Admins and select.
Add admins: Within the Cosmos Admins section, there’s an option to "Add admins". Click on this option.
User Selection: In the dropdown menu, type in the user's name or select some of the suggested users.
Select User: Click on the desired user's name from the dropdown menu. This user will now be assigned the Cosmos Admin role.
Revoking permissions
Navigate to the settings icon in the sidebar and select.
Navigate to Cosmos Admins and select.
Remove User: Locate the user from whom you wish to revoke Cosmos Admin rights. Next to their name, there should be a "Remove" or "Trash" icon. Click on this icon.
