The decimal field now offers the possibility to choose no decimal points in the configuration of the field allowing more flexibility

There are new currencies in the Currency field:

  • NEW: South Korean won

  • NEW: New Taiwan Dollar

NEW: Progress bar subtasks

It is now possible to use the native progress bar to track subtask progress in user stories and tasks, which is an improvement from the currently existing field that only supports the issue type Epic.

NEW: Time zones

This innovative field will display the current time in various cities and countries across the globe, allowing teams to keep track of their international counterparts' time zones effortlessly. Whether your team is distributed across different locations or if you are working with international clients, this field will enable you to coordinate better, ensuring no one misses out on important meetings or deadlines due to timezone differences.

NEW: Issue Update

This new feature records and displays who last updated an issue and when the update took place. The Issue Update field offers real-time visibility into the progress of issues, fostering better understanding and communication within your team. It will help in identifying active contributors.

Inline creation of colored labels

To further amplify the visual clarity and customization within your Jira experience, we are announcing the inline creation of colored labels. Allow users to create and assign colored labels to issues without navigating to the admin app interface. Now, you can establish more vibrant, meaningful categorizations directly within your workflow, bringing a new layer of convenience and efficiency to your issue management.

NEW: WSJF

We're thrilled to announce a strategic addition to our Custom Field Suite, the WSJF (Weighted Shortest Job First) field. This feature draws from the renowned prioritization model used widely in the SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) methodology, where tasks are sequenced for maximum economic benefit.

The WSJF Custom Field facilitates effective decision-making and prioritization by calculating the relative cost of delay divided by the relative job duration. This not only assists teams in determining the sequence of work based on their potential economic impact but also promotes a focus on jobs that are likely to deliver value quickly.

NEW: Format field

This advanced feature allows users to predefine the format for specific fields like email, FQDN (Fully Qualified Domain Name), IP address, and MAC (Media Access Control) address.

The Format Field ensures consistency across all instances of these types of fields, providing uniformity and reducing errors. By standardizing the format input, we help minimize confusion, improve data integrity, and increase efficiency within your workflows.

Single and Multiple select pickers deprecated

Existing select picker fields will work with all old features and functionalities. Created fields are still visible and editable within the app configuration and Jira screens. New users won’t be able to create new fields.

Instead of existing feature, we have added an universal multilevel select picker with both single and multiple options. The new field has improved interface and way better user experience.

NEW: Coloured labels

Designed to augment your visual experience, these labels add a dynamic, visually appealing element to your issue management. Colored Labels are more than just aesthetic enhancements; they serve a practical purpose by improving filtering within Jira screens. By assigning specific colors to labels, you can quickly categorize and identify issues based on their status, priority, or any other criteria that suits your workflow.

New currencies Chinese Yuan, Korean Won, Thailand Baht

We appreciate the feedback from our users that led to this enhancement. We're always eager to evolve our product to meet your needs better. With this update, we have added the Chinese Yuan (CNY), Korean Won (KRW), and Thai Baht (THB) to our list of supported currencies.

The Advanced Issue Links feature provides enhanced control over creating, modifying, and visualizing issue links. This allows for better tracking of dependencies, improved project organization, and more intuitive navigation between related issues.

Moreover, the added capability to display issue links as custom fields furthers the functionality. This enables teams to have the most relevant issue links at their fingertips, presented clearly and concisely directly within each issue.

Configuration redesign

Our team has reimagined and reconstructed the configuration screen, focusing on simplicity, ease of use, and efficiency. The new design aims to facilitate effortless creation and management of Jira custom fields directly from the screen without diving into main Jira settings.

With this update, you'll find a more intuitive layout and interactive elements designed to guide you through the configuration process. This makes setting up and modifying custom fields a breeze, saving you valuable time and effort. We've prioritized your feedback in this redesign, making the configuration screen more adaptable and user-friendly. Dive into a smoother, more responsive, and more efficient configuration experience with our latest update.
